The all-new Mantra Samui Resort, which overlooks the Gulf of Thailand, unveiled its all new wellness experienced, “A Mantra for Mantra.” The new wellness package accompanies the opening of the resort’s new natural spa, the Jai Spa.
The Jai Spa captures the design motif of the entire resort; the space has four softly lit private treatment rooms and a foot reflexology area. The spa has bamboo-clad walls that reach up to a lofty ceiling, inspired by the dense jungle that surrounds the hillside property.
The spa blends most of its treatment products in-house, using natural ingredients harvested right from its home-grown botanical gardens. Jai’s flagship concoctions are infused with Thai herbs, and homegrown lemongrass steams the spa’s atmosphere. The signature treatment, the Yaa Jai deploys coconut milk for a deep, tension-releasing massage. Warm coconut poultices are also applied to tight spots to further reduce stress.
The new “A Mantra for a Mantra” package is designed to improve overall wellness. The three-night stay package for two includes:
- Round-trip airport transfer in a private vehicle
- Consultation with spa manager on arrival to cover areas of concern and develop a spa plan during the course of the stay
- Two treatments per day from the spa menu (per person)
- Daily meal at The View restaurant (choice of lunch or dinner)
- Daily breakfast for two
- One private meditation class for two (optional)
- One private yoga class for two (optional)
Spa menu options draw from local traditions and plants in its range of facials, massages, scrubs and wraps such as the Thai Lemon Tea scrub, a 60-minute exfoliation using tea and lemon juice, a Thai Tamarind wrap and other Ayurvedic treatments.
“A Mantra for Mantra” is available from September 4, 2017 to March 31, 2018. Rates vary by room type and start from THB 19,680 (approximately $600), excluding yoga and meditation and THB 22,380 (approximately $670), including private yoga and meditation classes.
