Surrenne in Knightsbridge is set to become London’s new well-being and longevity Members’ Club when it opens at The Emory in April 2024.
Surrenne is a well-being brand launched by Maybourne, whose hotel portfolio includes Claridge’s, The Connaught, The Berkeley, The Maybourne Beverly Hills, The Maybourne Riviera and the soon-to-open Emory. The concept is founded on science-backed, evidence-based protocols, offering a menu of wellness programming.
Designed by Remi Tessier, Surrenne is set over four floors, with nearly 21,530 square feet devoted to health and wellness, including a gym. The Club is home to a 72-foot pool, complete with a sound system for in-water meditation, and will also offer a range of indoor and outdoor fitness classes, as well as wild swimming, given its location opposite Hyde Park.
Surrenne introduces a new approach with its Longevity Clinic in partnership with Virtusan. Their Scientific Advisory Board includes Dr. Andrew Huberman, Dr. David Sinclair and Dr. Shauna Shapiro, who will offer members and hotel guests the latest evidence-based methodologies and diagnostics backed by neuroscience. Together, they have crafted longevity and fitness protocols that cater to the individual, ensuring optimal performance, cognition and targeted physical training.
Conceptualized by Inge Theron, creative director of spa and wellness design for Maybourne, Surrenne offers:
- The U.K.’s first fitness studio from Tracy Anderson
- A series of signature facials by surgeon and skincare expert Dr. Lara Devgan
- A micronutrient-rich menu designed by nutritionist Rosemary Ferguson in Surrenne Café
- A holistic menu of multi-sensory experiences, signature dry and wet body treatments, and facials performed by a team of therapists
Guests of The Berkeley and The Emory will receive complimentary access to Surrenne as part of their stay at the hotels.
