Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, a luxury Caribbean property, is now offering an “Unlimited Golf Getaway” stay-and-play package.
The resort, located in the Dominican Republic, is popular for its Teeth of the Dog course. The course is one of three on location and is ranked no. 39 in the world by GOLF Magazine. All three of the resort’s award-winning golf courses were designed by World Golf Hall of Fame member, Pete Dye, and are available for unlimited play.
The Unlimited Golf Getaway includes accommodations in a Pete Dye Golf Lodge Room, full American breakfast daily, use of a four-passenger golf cart to travel throughout the resort, complimentary nightclub access, and more. The package must be booked by July 31, with travel by October 30. A surcharge will be added for each round on Teeth of the Dog.
Many of Dye’s design hallmarks are present in the Teeth of the Dog course, including railroad ties, vast waste areas, peninsula greens and tees, hand-sculpted putting surfaces, and a unique assortment of pot bunkers. From the course, golfers can enjoy oceanfront views.
The 27-hole Dye Fore was built in 2002 and has three nines: Chavon, Marina, and Lakes. Chavon seven seven holes running over 300 foot cliffs; Marina roams down to a harbor surrounded by restaurants and shops; and Lakes was crafted across wild terrain.
Located in the interior of the property, The Links were renovated in 2012. The moderately hilly track with tall Bahia grass framing bunkers present remarkable Caribbean views. Slightly over 7,000 yards from the back tees and playing to a slope of 126, it is considered one of the most-forgiving courses Dye created.
