Traveling with children to Paris? Here’s a tip: After partaking in some kid-approved activities like a Seine river cruise, Eiffel Tower climb, or jaunt to the zoo in the Jardin des Plantes, why not try a parent-child spa treatment? Le Bristol Paris—the palace hotel on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré—has recently opened a spa room and redesigned its Kids Club in partnership with Bonpoint, the beloved French children’s clothing brand. (The very first Bonpoint boutique opened at 67 rue de l’Université in 1975, and it’s now a Paris institution, much like Le Bristol.)
Situated next to the spa, Le Bristol Paris x Bonpoint is decked out with large cushions, chalkboard walls, and Indian teepees, while toys include electric car tracks, dolls houses and stuffed animals.
The Bonpoint spa room was newly created as a space where parents and their children can enjoy treatments together. Bonpoint’s products utilize natural hypoallergenic ingredients suited for children’s skin. Examples include the 25-minute Gentle Facial for parent-child (six to 12 years) which includes a face treatment and scalp massage; the 25-minute Gentle Massage; and the 50-minute “A Moment of Magic,” which combines a 50 minute parent-child facial, body massage and snack. Note that treatments are also available for the tween and teenage set (12 to 16 years).
First opened in 1925, Le Bristol is adored by the jetset crowd for its Michelin-starred restaurants by chef Eric Frechon, buzzing bar and spa by La Prairie. The palace hotel is part of the Oetker Collection.
