Come January, a new Luxury Collection hotel will debut in Napa Valley. Las Alcobas is set to make a splash in a region already renowned for its luxury spas and fine dining outlets. For one thing, there’s the restaurant by celebrity chef Chris Cosentino, famed for winning Top Chef Masters (he also competed in The Next Iron Chef and Iron Chef America). Acacia House was singled out by Eater as one of San Francisco’s “most anticipated” new restaurant openings. Nice perk: The restaurant will provide breakfast, picnic baskets and biking lunches for hotel guests.
Las Alcobas, A Luxury Collection Hotel is situated on Main Street in St. Helena. Most of the 68 rooms and suites will come with terraces overlooking the vineyards. Hotel highlights include the high-tech fitness center and the atrío spa, housed in an old farmhouse. Las Alcobas expects to tap into the destination wedding market with a variety of event spaces including the lawn and “event barn” with vaulted ceilings.
The official opening date for Las Alcobas is January 24, and the hotel’s website is taking reservations from February 1, 2017.
