Nikki Beach, a luxury lifestyle and hospitality brand, is set to open its newest location in Port Ferdinand, Barbados this winter. Nikki Beach Barbados will sit on one and a half acres of beachfront property and mark the entry of the first luxury beach club property in Barbados.
The new hotel will offer the same look and feel of the brand’s other properties around the world, including its design of all white with wood accents. The designs will highlight stone elements sourced from the region as well as Caribbean-inspired features arranged by the construction and design company, Jada Group.
Amenities and Attractions
The beach club will consist of a restaurant, pool, and beach access with oceanfront seating for up to 200 guests. In case of bad weather, the dining space is covered with a waterproof awning, ensuring Nikki Beach can welcome guests rain or shine.
The pool will have an octagon wet bar where guests can swim up and enjoy Nikki Beach’s cocktail selection and the seven catamaran-like lounges, each accommodating up to four guests, will jut out over the ocean.
All-white sun beds and VIP cabanas will anchor the space where guests can enjoy champagne, cocktails and food with locally sourced ingredients. Nikki Beach will bring its musical culture to the island with resident DJs and musicians, including an in-house saxophonist, percussionist and violinist, among other musicians.
Additionally, a runway feature will be present poolside for Nikki Beach’s fashion shows and quarterly “What Women Want” events. Various amenities will be presented on property including a Nikki Beach Lifestyle Boutique, which carries branded polo shirts and t-shirts, designer clothing and swimwear for men and women, and towels, hats, beach bags, accessories, music and more. Showers and changing rooms are on property.
Cuisine
Nikki Beach Barbados will serve daytime and seaside dinner service. The hotel plans on using seasonal, local ingredients whenever possible to create dishes that support the Barbados community. The Nikki Beach culinary team will work with local fishermen as well to offer fresh Caribbean fare.
The hotel approximates that 60 percent of the menu will feature Nikki Beach’s signature dishes and 40 percent will be developed by the property’s Chef de Cuisine with local flavors; sharable seafood platters, Nikki Beach sushi boats, organic chicken, rotisserie pork and ceviche will highlight the menu.
Nikki Beach Barbados will also have concierge, valet service and parking (both on- and off-property) available to guests. Yachts will be able to dock directly at the location, and water shuttle service will be offered as well.
