France-based Millésime Collection has announced its latest opening: Château de Théoule. The hotel is situated on the coastline of the Côte d’Azur and is just a 20-minute boat or car trip from Cannes and a 45-minute ride from Nice International Airport.
Originally a soap factory dating to 1630, Château de Théoule was turned into a castle in the late 19th century. It also has a private beach and a private boat slip, making it the perfect getaway for those who wish to explore the Riviera at their own pace. The property is split into several distinct spaces: the main Château and fishermen’s villa and the more modern Art Deco villa, along with the restaurant and pool area. The 34 rooms and 10 suites, spread out across the original castle and villas, offer views of the Bay of Cannes.
Open onto the gardens and waters of the bay, Mareluna restaurant showcases Mediterranean cuisine and vintage wines. Open since 2022, La Plage Blanche is a private beach located just below the Château’s suites. The beach restaurant and lounge, which can seat up to 100, serves light bites, seafood platters and more.
Millésime brings to Théoule its signature wellness concept, Éc(h)o Spa, in collaboration with the myBlend brand by Clarins, as well as KOS PARIS. The spa has three treatment rooms, a sauna and a steam room, along with one interior and two exterior Nordic baths.
Surrounding the Château de Théoule is the Massif de l’Estérel, a rugged mountain range that rises from the Mediterranean coastline. Its hiking trails, rocky cliffs and hidden coves make it a perfect backdrop for nature enthusiasts, hikers and climbers alike.
Additionally, Château de Théoule serves as a backdrop for an array of seaside events. The restaurant, private beach and villa rooftop lend themselves perfectly for various occasions and celebrations.
