EDITION Hotels has made its debut in Jeddah. Located on the Jeddah Corniche along the Red Sea, The Jeddah EDITION offers 52 rooms and 11 suites (including two Penthouses), a rooftop terrace with a pool, spa and gym, as well as two lounges and a signature restaurant with culinary concepts by acclaimed New York chef Cédric Vongerichten.
The Lobby Lounge is dotted with curvilinear sofas, club chairs, coffee tables and more, while the adjoining Lobby Bar has an original royal purple billiard table by Blatt Billiards. Guests can enjoy handcrafted beverages, coffee by a local roaster, and a selection of teas, light bites and pastries. The al fresco terrace, which spans the entirety of the building, also houses a bocce ball court.
The property’s 52 rooms and 11 suites are set between the hotel’s third and fourth floors, offering views of either the Red Sea or the F1 track. The bathrooms have freestanding bathtubs and signature toiletries.
Open from sunrise to late evening, Maritime is the hotel’s signature contemporary French-Asian restaurant by Chef Vongerichten. The space has two private dining rooms and an open show kitchen. Additionally, The Den is a cigar lounge where guests can enjoy coffees and non-alcoholic beverages with light bites and rolled cigars on the private terrace.
On the fourth floor, The Roof is a Mediterranean beach club-inspired escape. Welcoming locals and travelers alike, it has a series of private nooks and lounges set against views of the Marina, Jeddah Yacht Club and F1 track. A sleek 46-foot pool is lined with sunbeds, cabanas and more. The menu offers a variety of wood-fired, à la carte and shareable plates and beverages. The fourth floor is also home to a gym and spa. There are three treatment rooms, each with a changing area, and the menu comprises everything from facials to massages, using Natura Bissé products from Barcelona.
