The Langham, Gold Coast has opened its doors on "Surfers Paradise" in Queensland. It has been touted as the first luxury hotel with direct beach access on Australia’s Gold Coast in over 30 years.
The hotel offers 339 guestrooms and suites, each with balconies offering panoramic views of beaches and the surrounding landscape. Guests can also enjoy views of the two lagoon pools with infinity edges which drop off into the Pacific.
The Langham, Gold Coast offers five food and beverage outlets. Guests can enjoy afternoon tea at the Palm Court, a tradition that originated at The Langham, London in 1865. T’ang Court, (scheduled to open in the Australian spring), will be the first western outpost of its three-Michelin-star Cantonese restaurant serving authentic dim sum and other dishes. Akoya is a refined-casual, all-day dining destination; the beachside 26 & Sunny offers lunch; and Coral Moon, the destination bar, is slated to open in the Australian spring.
The Langham’s 5,300-square-foot signature Chuan Spa, a holistic wellness concept, embraces the healing philosophies of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
The Langham Gold Coast is situated near shopping and entertainment options, farmers’ markets and local vineyards. The beachfront property joins Langham Hospitality Group’s portfolio of two Australian luxury hotels in Sydney and Melbourne.
