Park Hyatt has announced its brand debut in Morocco with the launch of Park Hyatt Marrakech. Located just over five miles from Marrakech’s Medina district, the 19-acre resort is situated at the base of the Atlas Mountains. It sits adjacent to the Al Maaden Golf resort, offering guests access to the 18-hole course.
Composed of 16 pavilions arranged around a central zeolite patio, Park Hyatt Marrakech offers hyperlocal experiences for guests, from breakfast in a hot-air balloon in the Three Atlas Valleys, to dinner in a Bedouin tent in the Agafay desert, to airport transfers in luxury electric cars, and more.
Park Hyatt Marrakech offers 130 guestrooms and suites, each decorated with traditionally woven Berber carpets in pure wool and modern works of art. Food and beverage options at Park Hyatt Marrakech include TFAYA, an arabesque brasserie; Le Pavillon, which offers an all-day menu to be enjoyed under the pergolas on the terrace or poolside; and The Living Room, a signature social space in Park Hyatt hotels, offers a tapas menu paired with tea. The resort’s 23,000-square-foot spa offers a range of personalized treatments. Facilities include a 2,153-square-foot fitness center and yoga studio, an outdoor heated pool, a family-friendly outdoor pool and an indoor heated pool.
In addition, Park Hyatt Marrakech houses seven function spaces, which can accommodate up to 80 guests. Each pavilion has a rooftop terrace and is ideal for private events.
The opening of Park Hyatt Marrakech marks the brand’s expansion in Africa, joining Park Hyatt Zanzibar and the forthcoming Park Hyatt Johannesburg, slated to open in 2025.
