Now Open: Raffles Sentosa Singapore

Raffles Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Raffles Sentosa Singapore, touted the country’s first all-villa resort. Set within 25 acres of tropical greenery on Sentosa Island, Asia’s first Global Sustainable Tourism Council-certified island destination, the resort is a 15-minute drive from the city’s Central Business District.

Designed by Yabu Pushelberg, Raffles Sentosa Singapore has 62 villas, each with a private pool and outdoor terrace, ranging from a one-bedroom 2,272-square-foot villa to the four-bedroom 6,997-square-foot Royal Villa. The landscaping is anchored by two heritage Ficus trees, as well as a muster of resident peacocks. Upon arrival, guests can arrange to be chauffeured up a meandering driveway in one of the resort’s Rolls-Royce limousines.

The Raffles Sentosa Spa, housed in a transformed heritage landmark building, has 13 treatment rooms and offers a contemporary well-being journey. Treatments are designed to optimize rejuvenation through mindfulness, massage, fitness and hydrotherapy. In addition to an expansive fitness center, resort guests will enjoy preferential green fees at the Sentosa Golf Club, located across from the resort, as well as direct access to Tanjong Beach.

The hotel is home to five restaurants and lounges. At the signature Empire Grill, under the leadership of Chef Bjoern Alexander, guests can savor modern Italian cuisine, while Royal China offers refined Cantonese delicacies prepared by Executive Chinese Chef Ling Heng Yao. A distinctive dining experience awaits at Iyasaka by Hashida where Chef Kenjiro Hashida offers his signature omakase style. The Raffles Room hosts the brand’s signature afternoon tea, and, in a nod to the speakeasies of the past, the Chairman’s Room offers a refined selection of whiskies, cognac and wines. Guests may also opt to dine al fresco by their villa pool, in the resort’s gardens or on a secluded stretch of Tanjong Beach. Guests can also enjoy the Sentosa Sling, the resort’s twist on the Singapore Sling, which was created at the original Raffles Singapore in 1915. Made with up-cycled watermelon skin from the resort’s kitchens and lemon leaves grown in the gardens, the Sentosa Sling highlights the hotel’s focus on sustainability.

tip: In celebration of its opening, guests can enjoy the resort’s "Welcome Home" experience, which includes private round-trip transfers, daily breakfast for two at the Empire Grill and a complimentary Sentosa Sling. This offering is available for bookings made by May 31, 2025, for stays up to September 30, 2025.

Raffles Sentosa Singapore marks the brand’s second property in Singapore. Raffles was founded in 1887 with the debut of Raffles Singapore.
