The Oak Bay Beach Hotel in Victoria, British Columbia is introducing new creative customizations for meetings hosted at the hotel.
The hotel offers meeting planners the chance to customize business meetings in a variety of ways, between beverages, personalized apparel and spa treatments.
Hotel guests can enjoy local brews with a personally curated menu of beverages. Note: Victoria is known to be the province’s craft beer capital, home to Canada’s first brew pub. With the customized craft beer and cider tasting, those attending meetings at the hotel can sip on locally made beers, ciders, wines and spirits. The hotel’s conference service experts work with guests to customize the tasting experience to their particular desires and preferences. They also work with planners to align the tasting with whatever the theme may be.
The hotel also has an in-house mixologist who can create customized cocktails for guests. Reservations made ahead of time can look forward to a total of three-month barrel aged alcohols, ready to be served upon the group’s arrival.
The group can also enjoy “blended-for-you” loose-leaf teas. They can also learn how to blend tea themselves.
Oak Bay Beach Hotel further meets group needs by customizing hotel room key cards with company logos or images. Groups can also book “spa takeovers” – a block of treatments for group participants in the Boathouse Spa & Baths. Custom menus will also be created with names for the treatments. These are based on company names and the type of treatment the group is going for.
The hotel also provides personalized Oak Bay Beach Hotel golf shirts with accompanied by a company logo, “an ideal keepsake from the group’s golf afternoon,” which can be ordered through the hotel.
In a press release, the Oak Bay Beach Hotel said that it is already a premier destination for meetings thanks to its variety of spaces – from intimate, eight-person boardrooms to the David Foster Foundation Theatre that can seat up to 300 guests.
