Ojai Valley Inn, the historic resort located on 220 acres in the Ojai Valley in Southern California, has remodeled its iconic villa, Casa Elar. To celebrate the renovation, the hotel has partnered with Southern California-based private charter company Sun Air Jets to offer an exclusive package for guests.
Casa Elar was originally built in 2006 by the hotel’s owners as a private residence. Over the years, it evolved into a popular destination for family reunions, intimate weddings and celebrity escapes. The 10,147-square-foot villa’s new design was conceived between hotel ownership and interior designer Natalie Konstant.
Casa Elar has two primary suites with “his” and “hers” bathrooms; two large bedrooms with full bathrooms and fireplaces; a private guest apartment over the garage with a full living, kitchen and dining space; a Great Room and dining room that seats up to 14; a library and entertainment room; spacious chef’s kitchen; and indoor and outdoor fitness areas.
Throughout the space, custom local art and archival photos of Ojai Valley Inn adorn the walls, besides hand-carved wood furniture and other finishes from Ojai-based furniture stores and showrooms, including Dekor & Co., Down Home Furnishings and Cercana. The villa features an outdoor pool and spa area with sweeping views of Ojai Valley; a barbecue terrace with a wood-fired stone pizza oven and gas grill; and four hand-carved limestone fountains. The 44,000-square-foot compound includes olive and lemon trees, rosemary and lavender.
Ojai Valley Inn has teamed up with Sun Air Jets to offer a package inclusive of round-trip chartered private flights and ground transportation; a three-night stay at Casa Elar; a “Petrossian Caviar Masterclass” and champagne tasting; unlimited golf at Ojai Valley Inn’s championship course; one spa treatment per guest at Spa Ojai; in-flight amenities, and more. The package accommodates up to 10 guests.
