Palazzo di Varignana Resort & Spa in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy is offering guests a sweet summer salutation from now through the end of September.
With “The Perfect Summer Vacation” package, the resort invites guests to the Bologna countryside to enjoy the greenery of its labyrinth garden, its authentic, farm-to-table restaurants serving regional fare, and its new spa.
This package lasts two- to seven-nights and offers up the Superior Room for two guests. Amenities include a buffet breakfast, welcome gift by the general manager, early check-in and late checkout upon availability, one bottle of regional wine, private parking, free Wi-Fi, complimentary bikes, a three-hour entrance to the updated VarSana Spa with a spa kit, Spastream treatment for two people for 20 minutes, one-hour of complimentary entrance and equipment to the sports facilities, a 10 percent discount in the resort’s on-site restaurants, entrance to the resort’s Landscape Garden and access to the resort’s outdoor pools.
The resort’s VarSana Spa recently debuted a “spa within a spa experience,” according to a press release, which highlights multi-ethnic wellness rituals such as the new Turkish Hammam and the Suntory Spa that “mimics” a Ryokan, a Japanese inn that served travelers in the mid-1600s through 1800s. The first of its kind in the area, the VarSana Spa offers holistic approaches, multi-disciplinary wellness, multiple indoor and outdoor pools with water circuits, soaking tubs, sensory showers, a bio-sauna, steam bath, ice waterfall, sound bath and Kneipp circuit.
Palazzo di Varignana Resort has five outdoor swimming pools, with one large main pool area with connecting waterfalls that leads to two smaller pools set down a slope. There is also an infinity Crystal Pool within the resort’s panoramic solarium with a retractable glass roof as well as a freshwater lap pool and a hyper-saline water relaxation pool.
Prices for those who book “The Perfect Summer Vacation” package range from €440 to €1,010 per night (approximately $520 to $1,300).
