This winter the Parisian hotel Les Bains will partner with the Mexican beach resort Papaya Playa Project to present a live cabaret and operate a beach restaurant and bar. From December 29 until March 3, 2019, the Papaya Playa Project property will host Les Bains Cabaret and Les Bains Rivage.
Papaya Playa Project will host Les Bains Cabaret in a structure designed by Denis Montel of RDAI, the same firm that designed Les Bains. Scott Bagley, the famed Master of Ceremonies from Casino de Paris and Crazy Horse, will curate the cabaret’s program of DJs, dancers and music. The cabaret will feature a French menu by Bruno Grossi, transporting the flavors of Les Bains’ newly launched Roxo to Mexico’s Caribbean coast. The show will run Tuesdays to Sundays with the show starting at 9 p.m.
Guests will also be able to visit Les Bains Rivage, a beach restaurant and bar. The venue will feature a Mediterranean menu, an oyster bar and international DJs. The area will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Papaya Playa Project and Les Bains are both members of Design Hotels. The group, founded in 1993, consists of more than 300 independent hotels from over 60 countries. In 2015, Design Hotels joined forces with Starwood Preferred Guest, which was combined into a single Marriott loyalty program in August 2018.
