Boutique hotel group The Pavilions Hotels & Resorts introduced its second location in Nepal: The Pavilions Himalayas Lake View. A collection of eight luxury tented eco villas, the property offers a secluded retreat between the region’s cascading rice fields and the Annapurna Himalayas.
Guests can reach the property by taking a paddle boat across the picturesque Phewa Lake and then taking a short foot path to the property. Visitors may also request a Jeep Safari transfer. The more physically-inclined also have the choice of taking the scenic five-hour hike from its nearby sister location, The Pavilions Himalayas.
At The Pavilions Himalayas Lake View, guests can choose from four 432 square foot Classic Lake Villas, three 538 square foot Grand Lake Villas and the 882 square foot Royal Lake Villa. All accommodations have been built with local, natural materials and feature floor-to-ceiling, fully retractable wraparound glass doors, handcrafted furniture and al fresco rain showers.
Guests can spend their time at the lakeside retreat hiking, meditating, kayaking or simply relaxing on the property. The clubhouse offers refreshments and local treats, while a team of therapists is available to provide wellness treatments. The hotel’s menu features traditional Nepalese cuisine and international dishes that use ingredients from The Pavilions Himalayas’ organic community farm. Stays at the lakeside location include daily meals, a program of activities, return airport transfers, one kayaking/rowing session and one 30-minute signature Ayurvedic massage.
