Pendry Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Pascal Forotti as general manager of Pendry Washington D.C. – The Wharf, scheduled to open in late 2022. Forotti has more than 25 years of experience in the luxury hospitality sector, having worked globally from the United States to Costa Rica, England, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Canada. In this new role, Forotti will oversee all aspects of hotel operations at Pendry Washington D.C. – The Wharf.

Most recently, Forotti served as managing director of The Watergate Hotel in Washington D.C. Prior to that, he took on several leadership roles—including that of managing director at Rosewood Hotel Washington D.C., where he led the transition of the hotel’s rebrand from Capella to Rosewood. Additional experience includes working with Intercontinental Hotel Group for 16 years as well as Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts for over seven years, serving as general manager of the Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo, amongst other roles.
Forotti was born and raised in Luxembourg and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Ceria with a degree in hotel management.
