The Peninsula London Expands “Peninsula Academy” Program

The Peninsula London has introduced three new “Peninsula Academy” experiences. From encounters with national treasures to hands-on creative adventures, these privately guided programs offer guests insights into the history and culture of the British capital. Whether tracing the footsteps of royalty or embarking on an immersive artistic journey, participants will enjoy privileged access to some of London’s most fascinating locations, guided by local experts and storytellers.

The new experiences include:

  • “Discover Apsley House: Inside Number One London” – Guests will have the opportunity to explore one of London’s most historic and prestigious addresses, Apsley House, familiarly known as Number One London, and located opposite The Peninsula London. Once the home of Arthur Wellesley, the first Duke of Wellington, this neoclassical Georgian masterpiece houses one of Britain’s most significant private collections. Led by the Keeper of the Wellington Collection, this tour unveils the Duke’s treasured artifacts, costumes and works of art. Guests will trace the footsteps of one of Britain’s most iconic military leaders while enjoying behind-the-scenes access to the collection. This experience is available for a maximum of 10 guests.
  • “Asprey Bespoke: A Masterclass in Luxury & Craftsmanship” – Guests will enjoy a customized visit to the Asprey boutique at The Peninsula London, where they can personalize exquisite pieces in a variety of ways, from silver keepsakes engraved with hand-written notes to leather goods embossed with doodles and signatures, crafted by expert artisans. This experience culminates in an afternoon tea at Asprey. This experience is available for a maximum of four guests.
  • “National Gallery Wellness-Inspired Private View” – Guests will embark by Peninsula Rolls Royce to the museum on Trafalgar Square, to start their private, guided journey through sold-out exhibitions. With the direction of a specialist curator, they will engage in a unique sensory experience that blends meditation, breathwork, and visualization techniques with the evocative power of fine art. After returning to the hotel, the experience concludes with a restorative sensory massage at The Peninsula Spa, complete with Subtle Energies therapies. This experience is available for a maximum of three guests.

Peninsula Academy experiences were launched in August 2024. The new experiences will join existing ones including “Crown Jewels Tour and Gemology,” “The Peninsula Children’s Adventure Quest” and “The Peninsula’s Grand Tour of London.”
