Pulitzer Amsterdam has announced the launch of The Beauty House, a wellness retreat specializing in a range of individual treatments.
Hidden among the boutiques of Reestraat in the Netherlands, The Beauty House is a restored historic canal home designed by Jacu Strauss. It features three levels that offer treatments from haircare and nailcare to bodycare.
The Beauty House works with brands that are known for making eco-friendly products, which are a key part of every treatment they offer. It is said to be the first salon to introduce 111SKIN treatments in the Netherlands. Guests can opt for a range of therapeutic formulations and clinical techniques.
Skincare range BloomEffects offers treatments inspired by the natural properties of the tulip, the iconic flowers of the Netherlands. The Beauty House is open Monday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The newly restored Pulitzer Amsterdam is a luxury hotel set within 25 interlinked 17th- and 18th-century canal houses. The hotel offers 225 guestrooms, meeting and event spaces, as well as an authentic restaurant and bar.
Overlooking the Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht canals, the hotel is located in Amsterdam’s historic city center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Close to Dam Square, Pulitzer Amsterdam is within easy reach of the Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk Museum, the Van Gogh Museum and The Anne Frank House. The fashionable Nine Streets, the quaint shops of Jordaan, the flower market and the Royal Palace are also a short distance away.
