The first Raffles Resort is set to open in the Middle East later this year, located on the iconic Palm Jumeirah. Raffles the Palm Dubai is set to open in the last quarter of 2021. Mark Willis, CEO of Accor India, Middle East, Africa and Turkey noted in a press announcement that there are no longer any beach resort plots left on the Palm Jumeirah.
Raffles the Palm Dubai will be located within a 25-acre landscape on the West Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, the world’s largest man-made island and archipelago. From its location, guests can enjoy sea views and vistas of the Dubai’s skyline, all while offering a tranquil and private escape, just a short drive away from the city’s vibrant attractions.
Once open, the resort will be home to 389 rooms (starting from 700 square feet), suites and villas, each with a balcony and terrace, as well as eight food and beverage venues. Previous Raffles guests will recognize the Raffles Patisserie, Writers Lounge and Library. Guests will also have access to Raffles’ butler service.
At the private stretch of beach, Raffles the Palm Dubai will be home to a brand-new beach club concept with Mediterranean cuisine, entertainment offerings and more. Additional amentias will include an outdoor swimming pool, a cinema, a dedicated children’s swimming pool and kids’ and teens’ clubs. A wealth of water sports and recreational activities, such as paddle boarding or introductory diving courses, will also be available.
