Regent Hong Kong Adds Harborfront Event Space for Weddings, MICE

Regent Hong Kong has opened The Terrace, an indoor-outdoor event venue perched above Victoria Harbor and aimed squarely at weddings, private dinners, and high-end corporate gatherings.

The roughly 3,122-square-foot space accommodates up to 250 guests for a standing cocktail reception or 108 for a seated banquet. A covered interior opens directly onto the outdoor deck, so an event can move from shelter to open air without leaving the harbor and Hong Kong Island skyline behind. The hotel is leaning on that panorama as the main draw, pitching the shift from daytime water views to the lit-up cityscape after dark as part of the experience rather than scenery.

The Terrace is designed to flex between two markets. For couples, the hotel is positioning it as a spot for daytime vows or an evening reception under the skyline, with layouts, florals, menus, and other details built around each pair. For brands and corporate hosts, the venue’s clean lines and shifting harbor backdrop are meant to serve product unveilings, executive gatherings, VIP receptions, and experiential activations.

Regent Hong Kong’s in-house team, which includes what the hotel calls its Wedding Artists, along with event specialists and the culinary staff, handles planning from the first consultation through the send-off. Menus and beverage pairings are customized to the occasion, and the hotel promises personalized styling and service throughout.

The launch adds a dedicated events space to a property that has made its harbor views central to its identity since its 2023 reopening under the Regent flag.
