Regent Hotels & Resorts has shared imagery of Regent Santa Monica Beach ahead of its debut this summer, marking the first destination in the Americas for the brand.
Set along the California coastline, and a stone’s throw from the Santa Monica Pier, Regent Santa Monica Beach will offer 143 guestrooms and 24 suites. The guestrooms start at 720 square feet, with bathrooms that are complete with soaking bathtubs, rainfall showers and double vanities. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the resort will offer 2,180-square-foot, two-story Atrium Suites located on the second and third floors, while The Santa Monica Presidential Suite on the eighth floor will house a game room, separate living room area and four Juliet balconies.
The resort’s signature restaurant, Orla, a new concept in partnership with James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Mina, will serve Mediterranean cuisine. Additionally, the resort will partner with entrepreneur and philanthropist Ayesha Curry and her lifestyle brand, Sweet July. Guests and visitors will have access to a curated Sweet July experience, offering bespoke items produced by Black- and women-owned brands, as well as a menu that will include Sweet July’s signature coffee, tea, pastries and desserts.
Other facilities include a beachfront pool deck and a 10,000-square-foot spa in collaboration with Guerlain. Dedicated Regent experience agents will be able to create curated stays for each guest based on their individual preferences. The resort will also offer guests beach butler service.
Following the openings of Carlton Cannes, a Regent Hotel, and Regent Hong Kong, the opening of Regent Santa Monica Beach will contribute to a new era for IHG Hotels & Resorts, marking a return of the Regent brand to Los Angeles.
