The Resort at Paws Up, a luxury ranch resort in Montana, has announced a lineup of summer culinary programming. This summer, guests can participate in a unique experience called a "Montana Long Table" event. At a Long Table event, guests can chat with local food and beverage artisans, followed by an evening of dining, music, lawn games and special chef guests. Events include:
Montana Long Table: Artisinal Picnic (June 17)
- The summer's first Long Table event will focus on timeless summertime classics—fried chicken and hotdogs. Chef Christine Cikowski and chef Joshua Kulp of Honey Butter Fried Chicken in Chicago, will join as featured chefs along with chef Doug Shon of Chicago's "encased meats" outfit Hot Doug's. Local artisanal breads, cheeses, condiments, meats, sodas and craft beer will also be served.
Montana Long Table: A Long-Standing Tradition (July 15)
- The spotlight for the July edition of Montana Long Table will be squarely on Paws Up executive chef Ben Jones and his team as they prepare a farm-to-white-tablecloth dinner. Jones was recently featured as a headlining chef at the James Beard House in New York City.
Montana Long Table: Bounty on the Blackfoot (August 19)
- During Bounty on the Blackfoot, guests will have an opportunity to learn what it takes to deliver a true farm-to-table dining experience. Paws Up has invited 2017 Top Chef winner Brooke Williamson to demonstrate her signature talent- taking locally sourced, seasonal ingredients and turning them into meals. Williamson and chef Ben Jones will get ingredients from the local farmers market and return to the resort for a one-night-only tasting dinner. Guests are encouraged to reserve this annual event early.
