Rhode Island’s Ocean House Unveils “Land and Sea Experience”

Nestled on the Atlantic coast in Rhode Island, Ocean House, the oceanfront 5-star resort has introduced a three-night “Land and Sea Experience” for guests.

The experience combines a suite stay with a sunset champagne cruise for up to six guests aboard the historic Aphrodite yacht. A professional photographer is also on hand to capture images prior to departure. Guests-in-residence can also reserve the Aphrodite for leisurely cruises around the area.

The package includes a three-night stay in the nautical-inspired Morgan Suite, reflective of Watch Hill’s maritime heritage and inspired by the classic sailing and motor yachts that take to local waters. The bi-level suite includes four guestrooms, a living room, dining area with a fully equipped demonstration kitchen, a private outdoor terrace and garden space with beach-level access. The lower level is complete with vintage nautical touches. A private beach cabana is also offered daily. The package and yacht sailings are offered August 1 through October 31, 2024.

Originally built just after the Civil War, Ocean House is perched high on the bluffs in seaside Watch Hill village. The property reopened its doors in 2010 following a $140 million rebuild, and offers 49 guestrooms and 20 signature suites, a variety of F&B options and the Ocean & Harvest Spa.

Guests can enjoy complimentary resort activities including culinary classes, art experiences, complimentary croquet, movies, and more. Ocean House is a member of Relais & Châteaux.
