The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, Miami has appointed Eugenia Dwyer as its new general manager. The luxury beachfront resort aims to renew and revitalize its guest experience with this new addition. Dwyer’s goals include elevating the overall ambiance of the hotel and creating long-lasting relationships with guests by emphasizing the brand’s warm and welcoming culture. To accomplish this, Dwyer will utilize her vast knowledge from nearly 30 years of experience in hospitality management.
Hospitality also runs in Dwyer’s family. She follows in the footsteps of her grandparents, who spent many years within the industry in her home-country of Argentina. With her South American heritage, Dwyer will also bring a global sensibility to her position, creating an inviting environment for guests.
Dwyer joins The Ritz-Carlton, Bal Harbour team having previously served as general manager of Eden Roc & Nobu Miami Beach. Her experience at the luxury resort taught her invaluable skills on leadership and managing a large-scale, high-end operation across diverse F&B, spa and retail outlets. Dwyer has also worked at multiple brands in varying New York City locations, such as The Westin Times Square, Waldorf Astoria and W Hotels in both Times Square and Hoboken, New Jersey. In 2012, she accepted her first manager role at the Highgate Hotels in New York, followed by a promotion to complex general manager for The Gates & 24 North in Key West, embarking on her successful career in sunny Florida.
