The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park is now offering its guests the chance to embrace summer with its annual “Picnic in the Park” and brand new “Posh Picnic” packages.
The picnic menu is curated by the luxury hotel’s executive chef Joseph Lallave and focuses on fresh, local and regional ingredients. With the "Picnic in the Park" package, guests receive a choice of one shared plate of a mezze tray or cheese and charcuterie, a choice of one salad such as Greek quinoa salad with Castelvetrano olives, cherry tomatoes, pickled cucumbers, Meyer lemon oregano vinaigrette, a choice of one sandwich such as the lobster roll on a toasted brioche roll and one Central Park-inspired dessert such as strawberry crumble bars, created by pastry chef Anthony D’Adamo. Gluten-free options are also available upon request.
With the "Picnic in the Park" package, guests at The Ritz-Carlton, Central Park also receive overnight accommodations, an insider guide to picnicking in Central Park from the concierge, a Ritz-Carlton kite, Frisbee, tote bag and waterproof fleece blanket as mementos of their stay as well as a Central Park map.
The new "Posh Picnic" package creates a “lavish culinary adventure perfect for two.” Guests who choose this option receive a Deluxe Park View Suite with views overlooking Central Park along with champagne, chocolate strawberries, Ossetra caviar and more. These offerings are also in addition to all of the amenities that also come with the original Picnic in the Park package.
Both the Picnic in the Park and Posh Picnic packages are valid now through September 15. Guests already staying at the hotel or locals who simply wish to enjoy a luxe day in Central Park can reserve their picnic 24 hours in advance.
