The Ritz-Carlton Debuts in Morocco

The Ritz-Carlton has announced the opening of The Ritz-Carlton Rabat, Dar Es Salam, marking the brand’s debut in Morocco. The luxury hotel in Morocco’s capital is set among 1,087 acres of forest and gardens, adjacent to Royal Golf Dar Es Salam.

The Ritz-Carlton, Rabat Dar Es Salam offers 100 guestrooms and 17 suites, all with a private terrace facing the pool and the gardens, including a Royal Suite, spanning nearly 1,940 square feet. All guestrooms and suites have Moroccan touches, large mirrors, Baroque-styled furniture and marble bathrooms.

Guests can savor traditional Mediterranean fare at the Mediterranean Brasserie from morning to night. The restaurant offers à la carte breakfasts, gourmet lunches and dinners, all enhanced by views of the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam. The Lobby Lounge welcomes guests for an afternoon tea experience, offering a selection of Moroccan and English teas, snacks, Moroccan sweets and more. Palapa, the Pool Bar Restaurant, offers Pan-American flavors. Open from morning to evening, with continuous dining service, Palapa’s menu includes ceviche, tacos and snacks, alongside cocktails and fruit-infused waters. Blind Tiger, the speakeasy bar located just off the lobby, offers cocktails inspired by the Prohibition era, alongside a selection of wines, spirits and light bites.

Good to know: The Ritz-Carlton Spa offers saunas, hammams, 10 massage rooms and two couple’s suites and an indoor pool with a glass roof. Guests will also have access to an outdoor pool, a 24/7 fitness center and the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, with its three golf courses offering 45 holes spread across the 440-acre oak forest.

Meeting and event spaces include the Grand Ballroom, hosting up to 400 guests; more than 23,680 square feet of landscaped outdoor event spaces; and more than 4,885 square feet of indoor event space, spread over three rooms.
