The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage has completed a two-year renovation project. Set above the Palm Springs valley, the resort's transformation encompassed its public spaces, guestrooms, dining experiences, pools and more.
The resort has 260 guestrooms, including 32 suites, 16 of which are vista residential suites. Enhanced guestrooms now have sleek furnishings, new artwork and organic touches such as woven leather lamps on bedside tables and an off-white custom leather headboard. The one-bedroom executive suites have a coffee table that resembles the stacked base of a barrel cactus.
The resort also offers 54 rooms with fire pits including 38 fireplace terrace rooms. Plush outdoor couches and chairs set the stage for relaxation during the day and throughout the evening by firelight.

Guests can also enhance their visit with access to the Ritz-Carlton Club Level. First, The Club Lounge is now open year-round. Additionally, guests who enjoy Club Level access will enjoy concierge services and continuous food and beverage offerings daily, alongside access to exclusive experiences and preferred tee times at select local golf courses.
On the dining front, the Edge Steakhouse closed in 2019 and reopened in 2023 during the first phase of the resort’s renovation. It offers steaks, seafood, classic sides, a curated wine list and craft cocktails. State Fare Bar & Kitchen, alternatively, offers all-day dining spotlighting locally sourced ingredients and local wines. Additionally, two glass-enclosed private dining spaces are also available.

The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage offers two pool experiences—the Vista adults-only pool overlooking the valley floor as well as the Air Pool. Both pools were enhanced with new furniture and cabanas. Specifically, the resort has doubled the number of cabanas, which now include couches and two lounge chairs, television, ceiling fan, mini-refrigerator, safe and a private attendant. Cabanas can be rented for special occasions and the team at The Ritz-Carlton can help create the perfect poolside celebration, anniversary, birthday party and more.
Good to know: The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage offers more than 30,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Original elements of the spaces were preserved such as the tortoiseshell-inspired chandelier in the ballroom, besides infusing new elements. For instance, the newly designed carpet in the meetings space replicates life-sized succulents that are inspired by the plants found in the Zen garden next to the resort’s concourse.
