Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach Debuts Multi-Phase Reno

The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach has announced the completion of its multi-phase, multimillion-dollar transformation. Now in its ninth year of operation since opening in 2016, the residential-style hotel elevated the guest experience through room upgrades, new amenities, meaningful programming and more.

The 552-room property has refreshed its ‘Ewa Tower guestrooms, front desk and both infinity pools, and also debuted The Ritz-Carlton Suite Collection with three signature suites. In addition, the hotel debuted a new dining concept, Solera, offering regional cuisine with a modern twist. Guests can also enjoy new programs and amenities inspired by the spirit of O‘ahu, crafted to connect travelers with the Island’s culture and heritage.

Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed with a signature hibiscus tea blend crafted exclusively for the hotel by Oʻahu-born tea educator Kathy YL Chan. The tea combines the bright, tart notes of hibiscus—the official state flower of Hawai‘i—with chrysanthemum and local honey sourced from the Mānoa Valley.

As for the acommodations, the hotel’s ‘Ewa Tower offers guestrooms and suites across three floor categories: Deluxe Level (Floors 9–22); the Grand Level (Floors 23–32); and the Premier Level (Floors 33–36).

The renovation also unveiled The Ritz-Carlton Suite Collection—three new suites located on the highest floors of the hotel. These include The Ritz-Carlton Penthouse, The Ritz-Carlton Four-Bedroom Suite and The Ritz-Carlton Three-Bedroom Suite. The suite collection accommodations span multiple floors, bedrooms and bathrooms and come with floor-to-ceiling windows, fully equipped chef’s kitchens, generous living spaces and more. Guests of these signature suites have access to exclusive amenities, including round-trip luxury airport transfers; a private arrival and private check-in experience; premium turndown service that includes a daily selection of teas crafted by Chan; and a VIP concierge. Other amenities include a pre-stocked refrigerator with complimentary local beverages and refreshments.

Guests can also experience “My Story of Oʻahu,” taking place each evening at sunset, where a local student of Hawaiian language will share their personal connection to Oʻahu through a traditional Hawaiian chant, offering guests a heartfelt glimpse into local tradition, history and island spirit.
