This September marks the reopening of Rocco Forte Hotels’ Brown's Hotel in London, Hotel Amigo in Brussels, Hotel Savoy in Florence and Hotel de la Ville in Rome. The openings come on the heels of the brand's new partnership with VistaJet for more private VIP offerings, the launch of Verdura Resort’s eight new villas being in September and the remainder of the brand’s property reopenings earlier this year.
With the increasing demand for private travel experiences away from the crowds, Rocco Forte Hotels says it has pivoted to create luxury programming that travelers will be seeking for the foreseeable future. For instance, Brown’s Hotel has teamed up with Pashley Cycles, England’s oldest bicycle manufacturer. These vintage bicycles will be on hand for guests to make the most of the outdoors along with a “bespoke bike safari itinerary,” complete with a classic British picnic awaiting guests in a nearby park.
Rocco Forte Hotels also says it is leaning into its outdoor spaces, be it gardens or rooftops—allowing travelers to enjoy fresh air apart from the crowds. To note, following a year-long restoration project, Hotel de Russie’s secret garden has been brought back to its original design from the 1820s. The garden can serve as the location for open-air meals.
Rocco Forte Hotels is also officially extending its portfolio into Milan in 2023, welcoming guests after an extensive refurbishment of the original Baglioni Hotel Carlton. Other new developments including Villa Igiea in Palermo, The Westbund Hotel in Shanghai and Rocco Forte House in Florence are still on target for grand opening in 2021.
