Paul Li has been named director of sales and marketing at Rosewood Hotel Georgia, located in Vancouver, British Columbia. In his new role, Li will serve as a key member of the hotel’s leadership team, tasked with overseeing all of the property’s sales and marketing efforts, along with developing business strategies that drive overall growth and increase revenue for the 156-room hotel.
Li has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry and over 10 years in sales leadership roles, specifically. Most recently, he served as director of sales and marketing at Trump International Hotel & Tower Vancouver, where he oversaw all room revenue segments across group, leisure, business and wholesale travel, along with marketing communication for the property’s rooms, dining outlets and events. Prior to working at Trump International Hotel & Tower Vancouver, Li was director of sales and marketing at The Sutton Place Hotel in Vancouver. He has served various hospitality roles in both Vancouver and Hong Kong with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, where he held an eleven-year tenor, and Mandarin Oriental.
Li received his bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Catering Management from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he built his knowledge of global hotel operations and sales.
Located in downtown Vancouver, Rosewood Hotel Georgia first opened in 1927 as Hotel Georgia before reopening as a Rosewood property in 2011 following a full restoration. There are 156 guestrooms, Sense, A Rosewood Spa, four dining venues, a heritage ballroom and spacious lounges.
