Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has been appointed by German real estate company Bayerische Hausbau to manage Rosewood Munich, which will open in early 2023. The Rosewood Munich will be the brand’s first property in Germany and seventh property in Europe.
Housed in two landmark, historical buildings comprised of the former headquarters of the State Bank of Bavaria and the adjacent Palais Neuhaus-Preysing, the hotel will place guests within walking distance of the city’s most popular sites and destinations.
The 132-room hotel, located on the Kardinal-Faulhaber-Strasse, will be just minutes away from attractions like Marienplatz square, the Residenz city palace, Bavarian State Opera, the Maximilian- and Theatinerstrasse shopping districts, as well as famous museums.
The Rosewood Munich will provide guests with a lobby lounge and two different dining venues, which include a full-service restaurant and a bar. The hotel will also have a full-service spa, which will house five treatment rooms, as well as an indoor pool and fitness center.
Extensive meetings and events spaces in the hotel will accommodate a variety of private gatherings, conferences, and special events for up to 400 guests.
With the Rosewood Munich, the hotel group adds to its collection of properties in Europe that already includes Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco in Tuscany, Rosewood London, and the newly reopened Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel in Paris. Additional upcoming properties in Europe include Rosewood Vienna, Rosewood Edinburgh, and Rosewood Hotel, Grosvenor Square in London.
Overall, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts manages 21 properties in 12 countries, with 16 new hotels under development.
