Rosewood São Paulo has unveiled Asaya Spa by Guerlain, designed by Philippe Starck. The spa menu combines Brazilian practices and rituals with Paris-based Guerlain’s approach to skincare and regenerative therapies. In all, the spa at Rosewood São Paulo houses seven treatment rooms and a fitness studio with locker rooms equipped with a sauna and steam room. The fitness studio will offer spaces for private and group activities, including dedicated areas for yoga, Pilates and sound healing.
Rosewood’s Asaya brand is centered around the principles of emotional balance; fitness and nutrition; physical therapies; skin health; and community. Visitors can enjoy a range of signature Guerlain treatments, as well as a selection of experiences inspired by the destination, incorporating locally and sustainably sourced ingredients. These include the 90-minute Forest Energy treatment muscular body massage, the two-hour Art of Sculpt massage that focuses on the face and body, and a 90-minute Brazilian Feathers treatment that incorporates the notes of Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria collection.
Spa facilities include the Crystal Room, complete with a fusion of mirrors, locally sourced crystals and holistic practices. Crystal Room experiences include guided meditations, Reiki, head massages and more.
Asaya Spa will also offer retail destinations, including an Asaya boutique where guests can purchase items and products that will help to extend the benefits of their treatments. Items range from Guerlain’s skincare, fragrance and make-up collections to holistic and personalized creations by an onsite apothecary. An in-lobby Guerlain perfume bar will also be available for guests to craft personalized fragrances.
The complex also offers a membership component for locally based wellness-seekers, with two options focused on the destination’s fitness offerings. Available for six or 12 months, the Active Membership grants access to weekday use of the fitness center, the Emerald Pool, Bela Vista Rooftop and the hotel outlets. Members also receive up to two complimentary nights at Rosewood São Paulo, complete with monthly massages, physical assessments and consultations with an osteopath, personal training sessions, laundry service and guaranteed reservations with discounts on wellness workshops and activities.
Asaya’s debut at Rosewood São Paulo marks a milestone for Rosewood, bringing the brand’s outpost to the southern hemisphere for the first time.
