This holiday season, The Sanchaya beachfront estate will be hosting a variety of seasonal activities. From December 20 until January 1 the property, which is located an hour from Singapore, will offer guests private wine tastings, croquet afternoons by the ocean and more.
“No one looks back on their life and remembers the nights they had plenty of sleep, so we will pop Champagne, eat, drink and be merry, and, of course, search the skies on Christmas Eve and live it up as we ring in the New Year,” said The Sanchaya’s estate manager Magnus Olovson in a press release.
The events are kicked off with an "Aroma Journey" wine tasting in the glass-walled wine cellar, followed the next night by a discovery wine dinner in the cellar for up to 10 guests. The next two days, there will be champagne and caviar event as well as croquet at sunset with Provence Rosé, strawberries, and live music.
Christmas Eve begins with champagne cocktails and small bites at The Bar. Guests will then move to the Dining Room for a classic Christmas dinner of roast pigeon breast risotto with foie gras and goat cheese sauce as well as pan-fried lamb rack with Italian sausage and black truffle stuffing. On Christmas day guests will be treated to a Classic Afternoon Tea on the veranda overlooking the sea.
The following nights will offers a variety of champagne, whites, reds and a sweet wine with an array of cheese, and a champagne dinner that will include Dom Ruinart and Dom Pérignon.
New Year’s Eve will be kicked off with a limited-seating performance by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra in the estate’s Library.
That evening will offer specials by chef Giacomo Turzo including vintage port infused blue Stilton, freshly shucked oysters and ikura caviar tasting in the bar and library area. The main course will be served in the Dining Room with highlights including black grouper quenelles with lobster sauce, samphire, grilled baby squid and salmon roe, and Wagyu tenderloin with cherry vinegar, shallot reduction, and bordelaise sauce.
A variety of desserts will be offered at the Tasanee Beach Terrace as well as an open bar by the beach, live band and fireworks to bring in the New Year.
The luxury property houses 29 villas and suites as well as private residences with ocean views. There are two in-house restaurants, a bar, wine cellar, library, spa, gym, and 50-foot infinity pool.
