Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina announced it has finished numerous renovations ahead of its full grand reopening in October. Beginning in August, the resort will be able to offer 30 guestrooms and suites, six villas, multiple dining options, a relocated spa and other improvements.
The first full-service resort in the British Virgin Islands has also begun accepting guests again following Hurricane Irma, Scrub Island Resort will be at full operation this fall. Partly open during the spring and summer, the resort spent much of its time since last September cleaning, renovating and restoring the property.
Starting August 1, Scrub Island Resorts will offer 15 guestrooms and 15 one-bedroom suites for visitors to stay in. Suites include a kitchen, living area and balcony. Guests can also choose from one of six villas. The resort offers three two-bedroom options, the three-bedroom Mariner House and two four-bedroom villas.
Several dining options will be open for August visitors. Caravela Restaurant will serve meals all day, Donovan’s Lounge will mix cocktails, Tierra! Tierra! will provide casual, outdoor dining and the Gourmet Market & Deli will offer easy food for guests to take with them.
Scrub Island Resort’s Ixora Spa, moved to The Passage House villa, will roll out a new menu of spa treatments. While there, guests can use one of the multiple treatment rooms, the private pool or a beachfront cabana.
Other improvements to the resort include an upgraded Wi-Fi network, the expanded North Beach, a refinished infinity pool and its bar and a renovated 55-slip marina. Scrub Island Resort also provides a 24-hour fitness room and water sports at Pavilion Beach.
