The Set Collection has appointed Jean-Luc Naret as executive director & global brand leader. The collection of modern grand hotels also announced that Jean-Pierre Trevisan will lead Lutetia as general manager.
In his role as executive director & global brand leader, Jean-Luc will be responsible for establishing The Set Collection as the primary choice for hotel owners and investors, who seek a market-leading brand affiliation partner. It has been designed for owners, investors and management teams seeking an alternative to the traditional representation and distribution service.
The Set Collection provides a tailored solution to supply only the services that hoteliers need, designed to adapt quickly to continually evolving market conditions and business needs of the member hotels whilst providing a competitive fee structure. Under The Set Collection, owners and management teams retain their hotel brand and identity alongside the day-to-day running of their property, whilst taking advantage of tailored services to support their operation and existing teams.
Jean-Luc is a seasoned hotelier who brings with him a wealth of experience across the luxury lifestyle and hospitality sector. Most recently, Jean-Luc served as CEO for La Reserve Hotels & Spas where he was in charge of a collection of six hotels and five private homes with a team of 600 staff. Prior to this Jean-Luc was head of the Michelin Guides worldwide, where he repositioned the existing collection to expand outside Europe by adding 12 new city guides. Jean-Luc has also been at the helm of some leading luxury resorts globally including One&Only Le St Geran, One&Only Reethi Rah, The Residence Mauritius, and Sandy Lane Barbados.
As General Manager for Lutetia, Jean Pierre will bring with him a vast amount of experience within the luxury hotel and Parisian market. Originally opened in 1910 and after four years of restoration, Lutetia sprung back to life in 2018 as a founding member of The Set Collection.
Jean-Pierre joins from Hotel De Crillon, Paris where since 2018, he has been in charge of the hotel operations and quality standards of the property whilst leading a team of over 400 people. Prior to this, Jean-Pierre was with The Ritz, Paris where he spent five years as director of F&B and more than seven years as hotel director, leading the hotel operation and most notably, playing a key role in managing projects during the successful renovation of the property between July 2012 and June 2016. During the earlier part of Jean-Pierre’s career he gained extensive experience as director of F&B for notable hotels including Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris and Inter-Continental Hotel Paris.
