The Set Collection has introduced Deos Mykonos, set to debut in spring 2024, as the latest addition to its portfolio. The hotel is rooted in the island heritage of Mykonos and crafted with the expertise of the Daktylides family who established their hospitality portfolio, the Myconian Collection, in 1979.
Deos is perched on a hilltop above the town of Mykonos and offers panoramic views, from the windmills in the old harbor, across the neighboring islands of Delos, Syros and Tinos, to the edge of the horizon.
Designed by GM Architects, the hotel has rustic walls crafted from locally quarried rocks. The interiors reflect minimalism and sport natural textures and custom materials. Ample marble bathrooms are discreetly screened from the living areas opening out onto large scenic terraces. These landscaped and furnished outdoor spaces shaded by a pergola, with either a pool or a jacuzzi, are the signature experience at Deos.
Epico, the restaurant, showcases Greek cuisine and utilizes homegrown ingredients and seasonal produce. Guests can dine indoors or al fresco under the starlit sky. The property also offers wellness spaces, which offer signature treatments infused with locally sourced botanicals.
The Set Collection’s portfolio, overall, has expanded to 19 properties in recent months.
