Shangri-La recently marked its brand debut in Saudi Arabia. Shangri-La Jeddah is located near the city’s premier shopping areas and is just a "stone’s throw" from the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, home to the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix.
Situated in Jeddah’s tallest building Burj Assila—a 64-story tower soaring to a height of 850 feet—the hotel forms part of the 645,996-square-foot mixed-use development project, which is also home to 116 Burj Assila Residences available for sale. The 220 accommodations, including 148 deluxe guestrooms, 55 suites and 17 serviced apartments, have views over the Red Sea and the Jeddah skyline from floor-to-ceiling windows.
Shangri-La Jeddah’s restaurants blend traditional flavors with local influences and modern techniques. Shang Palace offers modern Chinese cuisine; The Waterfront Kitchen is a yacht-inspired, all-day-dining restaurant with live cooking stations and a range of global delicacies; and the boutique patisserie COPA offers coffee and chocolate.
The Wellness Club offers a range of health and wellness facilities for men and women across two floors, including a full range of Technogym cardio machines and weights. The facility is also home to The Spa at Shangri-La, which has a bespoke menu by Natura Bissé, a sauna and jacuzzi, as well as a hammam with a range of treatment rooms. Spa rituals and experiences are delivered by therapists from around the world, with beauty and wellness therapies complemented by a curated selection of products to encourage journeys of inner balance and relaxation, skin renewal and rejuvenation.
An 82-foot outdoor swimming pool with sea views is located on the seventh floor alongside extensive recreational facilities. The Kids’ Club offers an immersive roster of activities and entertainment. The hotel also offers flexible event spaces, including the 10,333-square-foot Shangri-La Grand Ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Red Sea.
