Opening this winter season, Six Senses Crans-Montana will offer ski-in, ski-out access from its prime position just above the main gondola in Crans starting February 1, 2023.
The 45 Terrace Rooms and one- and three-bedroom Suites have a Swiss chalet feel and are surrounded on three sides by pine forest. The bay windows and private terraces provide views stretching across the Valais valley, from the Swiss Matterhorn on the left across the 4-Vallées range to the French Mont Blanc massif on the right.
Among the the restaurants and bars are Byakko, which wll serve Japanese fare; the Alchemy Bar, which will mix exotic sake blends and cocktails with herbs ready for pick-me-up lunches and live music nights; and the all-day dining brasserie, Wild Cabin, serving classic Swiss fare with a twist.
The 6,500-square-foot Six Senses Spa will house nine treatment rooms, a Stretch Pod, fitness facilities, a yoga studio, a large indoor pool, a rooftop pool, steam room, hammam, hot tub and cold plunge pool. The Biohack Recovery Lounge offers fast fixes that harness smart technology to optimize the body’s natural healing processes.
As one of the last construction projects in Switzerland for sale with no restrictions for international owners, 13 of the 17 residences can be bought as a second home. Residences range in size from 2,260 to 3,550 square feet and include three- to five-bedroom apartments with two to three bathrooms and private parking spaces. Besides a range of home maintenance and hospitality services, including housekeeping, security, concierge, business center, nanny and groceries, residents can access all the amenities of the Six Senses resort.
Guests can enjoy 87 miles of slopes, descending from the nearly 10,000-foot-high Plaine Morte glacier down through trails that carve through the forest back to the hotel. The ski concierge and team are on hand to make the entire experience hassle-free, from arranging lift passes and ski lessons to waxing out any dents.
Crans-Montana is one of the few resorts where there’s no need for a car: Guests and visitors can land in Sion only 16 miles away or catch the two-hour train from Geneva Airport to Sierre and hop on the funicular.
Six Senses Crans-Montana will operate year-round. To celebrate the opening, guests staying throughout the month of February can avail of the “Snowy February Offer” including 15 percent off accommodations (minimum three-night stay required), daily buffet breakfast, welcome amenities, one 30-minute spa treatment per person and one Alchemy Bar workshop.
