Six Senses has signed hotel management agreements with Gruppo Statuto to open two new properties in Italy: Six Senses Milan and Six Senses Lake Como.
Slated to open in 2025, Six Senses Milan enjoys a prime address at Via Brera 19 in the artistic Brera quarter. Scheduled for a 2028 opening, Six Senses Lake Como will continue the legacy of the first hospitality destination opened on the shores of Lake Como in 1820 in Cadenabbia di Griante, an area rich in history, art and nature.
Six Senses Milan showcases the brand’s commitment to sustainability, which flows from the materials and furnishings to the prominent space dedicated to the Earth Lab, internal courtyard, and specialty restaurant and deli. Of the 68 guestrooms, 15 are suites and two will have their own plunge pools. Other facilities include a spa, rooftop bar and sky pool.
Following a full restoration of the Grand Hotel Cadenabbia on the lake’s western shores, Six Senses Lake Como will be home to gardens with rare plants. The number of guestrooms within the six-story property will be significantly reduced to accommodate 102 rooms and suites as well as the expansion of the spa and wellness area. The outdoor pool and sun deck will be complemented by a floating pool on the lake. F&B options include a specialty restaurant, terrace bar and restaurant with lake views on the fourth floor.
