Six Senses is launching Eat With Six Senses, a health and wellness program focused on natural ingredients, local food production and sustainability. The new food and drink program will represent another part of the Six Senses Integrated Wellness philosophy that promotes fitness and health in its hotels.
Six Senses Integrated Wellness was developed in collaboration with Dr. Steven Gundry, Dr. Michael Breus, Dr. Mehmet Oz and Patrick Wahlberg, members of the Six Senses Wellness Board, doctors and leading wellness professionals.
Natural Ingredients
With “Eat With Six Senses,” the brand is going for a cleaner and simpler approach to preparation, focusing on quality, balance and fresh, whole food made from scratch. Six Senses’ chefs will avoid unhealthy additives – flavor enhancers, lectins, lactose, gluten and sugar – in favor of healthy ingredients that promote a healthy immune system and offer better digestion and absorption of nutrients.
Local and Sustainable
As part of the new program, Six Senses is reinforcing its relationships with local farmers, producers and suppliers committed to responsible sourcing and seasonality. By working closely with local producers, Six Senses will take strides to is assure that ethical practices in raising animals and avoiding at-risk species are adhered to.
“Less Is More”
To eliminate the energy footprint that comes with importing branded drinking water, each Six Sense resort has its own reverse osmosis plant to produce still and sparkling mineralized water, which is provided to guests in reusable glass bottles.
Along with the Eat With Six Senses program, Six Senses offers personalized Integrated Wellness programs that encompass every part of the stay, like sleep, fitness, physical therapy and spa treatments.
