Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi is marking its 125th anniversary with a trio of Michelin-starred dining events this week at Le Beaulieu, the hotel's signature contemporary French fine dining restaurant.

On May 29 and 30, Chef Hiroyuki Matsumoto of Tokyo's one-Michelin-star Restaurant Prunier joins Le Beaulieu Chef de Cuisine Charles Degrendele for a four-hands dinner blending French culinary heritage with Japanese technique. The collaboration carries some institutional weight: Le Beaulieu dates to 1901, Prunier to 1934. Seatings run from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., priced at VND 4,900,000++ (approximately $186) per person, or VND 7,400,000++ with wine pairing.

The series caps on May 31 with a Provençal edition of Le Beaulieu's Sunday Brunch, led by Chef Louis Gachet of the one-Michelin-starred Le Feuilée in Provence. The spread will feature Provençal-inspired creations alongside French classics, premium seafood, artisanal cold cuts, and French cheeses, with live jazz accompaniment. The brunch runs from noon to 3:30 p.m. Pricing starts at VND 3,500,000++ per person, with options for free-flow wine (VND 4,500,000++) or free-flow wine and Champagne (VND 5,500,000++). Children under 6 dine complimentary; those aged 6 to 11 are half-price.

Seating is limited for both events. Accor+ Explorer members receive special dining benefits. The dinners are part of a broader series of milestone events the Hanoi landmark has planned throughout the year.
