Solage, Auberge Resorts Collection has appointed Pete Alles as its general manager. An industry veteran with more than 20 years of hospitality experience, Alles will oversee all operations for the Napa Valley resort, which underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation the previous year. Alles has long been a part of the Auberge Resorts Collection family, having joined Solage following his role as resort manager of Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection.
“We’re thrilled to have Pete join Solage, Auberge Resorts Collection” said Craig Reid, CEO, Auberge Resorts Collection. “A veteran leader, we are excited for his new debut in Napa Valley, and know that his natural and engaging leadership style, coupled with his prior luxury hotel experience, will allow him to be a crucial contributor to the continued success of the resort.”
Before he joined the Auberge Resorts Collection, Alles had a long and successful tenure working with Fairmont Hotels and Four Seasons Hotels in the Greater Los Angeles area as director of operations and director of food and beverage, besides holding other culinary and hospitality positions.
A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Alles grew up in Montana and holds a degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in hotel administration. He has a passion for wine country, and even spent his wedding day surrounded by vineyards in Tuscany, Italy.
“I’m excited to find a new home in Calistoga and become a part of such an incredible property and community,” said Alles in a press note.
Solage, Auberge Resorts Collection is located in the heart of California Wine Country. It is only one and a half hours from San Francisco by car. Situated on 22 acres surrounded by mountains and vineyards, Solage has 100 studios and suites, each with complimentary cruiser bicycles for guests’ use. The resort’s 130-foot pool offers private cabanas, daybeds, chaises and a pool deck. Solage’s signature restaurant, Solbar, serves seasonally driven Napa Valley cuisine. Spa Solage offers 20,000 square feet of health and wellness with 14 treatment rooms, the Bathhouse, a gym and a Yoga & Movement Studio with complimentary daily fitness classes.
