The St. Gregory Hotel, a boutique hotel in Washington D.C.’s Dupont Circle neighborhood between Georgetown and West End, has completed the renovation of its 156 guestrooms and suites, the final step in converting the hotel into a luxury lifestyle property. This renovation included a transformation of the lobby and a partnership with Philadelphia-based restaurant, Tredici Enoteca.
New York-based design firm, Bill Rooney Studio, developed the redesign for the guestrooms and suites, in addition to the hotel’s lobby. Building on the lobby design, the rooms and suites incorporate a mix of heritage and modern mid-century-inspired details with rustic elements.
The St Gregory’s new penthouse level has balcony rooms and city views, as well as elevated wet bars, premium coffee and spa-like turndown services from local D.C. partners. For the ultimate luxury stay, The St. Gregory Suite offers a wraparound balcony, king-size bed, separate deluxe entertainment space, dining table, wet bar, gas fireplace, sleeper couch, working desk and HDTV.
To amplify the guest experience, the guestrooms and suites have been structurally reconfigured to increase the amount of natural light, maximize available space and create organizational and technological efficiency. They possess a residential scale, ranging from 300 to 900 square feet, and have crisp white walls, rustic wood floors and accent walls, woven geometric rugs, navy accents, two-tone graphic art and subtle cove and accent ambient lighting.
As part of the renovation, The St. Gregory also transformed the fitness center into a modern facility with Peloton Bikes and new equipment, refreshed its light-filled meeting and event space, and added an outdoor garden patio as an extension of Tredici Enoteca.
The St. Gregory Hotel introduced new pet-friendly programming, added in special amenities and services for kids and families, and collaborated with local partners like Paradise Springs Vineyard, Artisan Chocolate, Virtue SkinFood, a host of nearby boutique fitness studios, The National Geographic Museum and The Building Museum. In addition to the refreshed design, the hotel offers complimentary Wi-Fi in all guest rooms and public spaces, a 24-hour business center, dry cleaning services, 24-hour concierge and valet parking.
To experience all that is new at the St. Gregory Hotel, the hotel is offering a limited time Meet the New St. Gregory offer which includes 20 percent off room upgrades and a special welcome amenity.
