The St. Regis Mexico City is offering interactive activities tailored to younger guests and their families in time for spring break with its signature Family Traditions program.
Family Traditions offers activities that include:
VIC (Very Important Children) Check-In: While parents register at the front desk, children ages three to nine can climb a little staircase to fill in their very own registration card, with fun facts on it. Instead of receiving a room key, the VIC are presented with a bag to fill with their favorite candies – courtesy of the hotel.
Candy Trolley: From Friday to Sunday, as part of the turn-down ritual, a candy trolley strolls the lobby and terrace for the young to fill in a candy bag with treats of their choice.
Cotton Candy Hour: Families with children can ask their butler for the Cotton Candy service, where kids can learn how to make their own through a guided process.
Children’s Club: Whether it’s art projects or Wii games, each child can find something to do in the hotel's 15th floor center. As part of the St. Regis Family Traditions program, the club offers story time, movies, and board games on request.
Ride on!: Children up to three years old can ride on Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible push cars, available in original blue, purple, and red. Children three to eight years old can ride on an original Tesla Model S. The battery-powered car comes equipped with high-end features to recreate the Tesla experience including a front trunk, MP3 sound system, working headlights and working horn.
In-Suite Glamping Experience: When staying at the hotel, families can take the outdoors adventure inside with an In-Suite Glamping Experience. Families with children ages three to nine and staying at one of The St. Regis’ suites can replace the rollaway bed for one premium tent filled with kid friendly amenities. The experience includes the tent, children’s sheets and blankets, coloring book and crayons, St. Regis Teddy Bear, a duvet, flashlight, robes and slippers, and milk and cookies.
Additionally, families that book a second room for children and young adults up to 21 years of age will receive 25 percent off; and all meals from the kid’s menu are complimentary.
Along with its family activities, the hotel provides access to famous destinations in the area including the iconic Angel of Independence, Chapultepec Castle, famous murals of Diego Rivera, Polanco financial district, architectural and historical monuments, museums, farmers’ markets and weekly events happenings throughout Mexico City.
