The St. Regis Punta Mita Promotes Digital Detox Package

The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort has launched a new “Disconnect to Reconnect” experience, encouraging guests to disconnect from the digital world and regain mental and physical balance.

“We have noticed that our guests are choosing to detox from the digital world when coming to our resort. More than just switching off their devices, they are looking to reconnect with nature, people, and the physical world,” said General Manager James Hughes in a press release.

“Disconnect to Reconnect” includes the private beach villa package, offering premier accommodations, daily breakfast, private dinner at the beach, a 60-minute personalized massage for two, a 30-minute couple’s energy healing session with Tibetan signing bowls, a 30-minute Stand Up Paddle Board Class, round transportation to and from the airport and $100 resort credit.

Guests booking the “Disconnect to Reconnect” package can expect such experiences as “Burnout Spa Therapy,” which incorporates a “neurosedative massage” to help treat the consequences of burnout, such as stress, extreme fatigue, anxiety, tension and insomnia. The treatment uses vetiver and lavender, known for their relaxing effects, as well as white jade stones to massage the face, neck and shoulders. These stones help release tension and negative emotions.

“Chakra Healing Sessions” with Tibetan singing bowls allow guests to learn how to relax and access a calming state of mind at any moment, while the “Diamond Cocoon Skin Treatment” detoxifies, strengthens and shields the skin against pollution and the continuous exposure to blue light.

Among the recreational options, guests can jog, bike or exercise outdoors while enjoying Punta Mita’s diverse ecosystem, including an array of birds, butterflies, flora and trees. There is also a tennis center with five hard courts and five synthetic grass courts, all of which are illuminated for night play, while golf fans will enjoy spending time at the two Jack Nicklaus-designed courses with ocean views.

The restaurants, too, are offering healthy menus, serving plant-based dishes created by Executive Chef Manuel Peruyero. The plant-based menus aim to help detoxify the body, boost the immune system and restore balance in the gut.

The “Disconnect to Reconnect” package is valid until December 15, 2021. For more information, visit www.stregispuntamita.com or contact reservations.puntamita@stregis.com.
