The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort in Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit has announced the completion of its $45 million property-wide transformation. The project encompasses all common areas and public spaces, redesigned guestrooms and suites, enhancements to the spa and updates to the outdoor wedding venues. The resort has also introduced new F&B concepts, five beachfront villas and the Marietas Pool, which affords views of Islas Marietas National Park.
All the resort’s accommodations, including 120 guestrooms, beachfront villas and ocean and garden view suites, have been redesigned. All accommodations provide access to a St. Regis Butler for the duration of the stay.
The five newly introduced residential-style beachfront villas feature redesigned outdoor terraces with personal lounge pools, ideal for families and groups. Ranging in size from one to three bedrooms, these villas feature a redesigned living area with plush furnishings and direct beach access. The Presidential Villa features design elements and curated artwork such as textiles, ceramic pieces and functional, sculpture-like furnishings, all available for purchase.
The St. Regis Spa has upgraded its outdoor facilities and treatment rooms. These include indoor and outdoor lounge areas, the addition of a temazcal, and a new Couples Spa Suite featuring a private plunge pool, outdoor shower, lounge seating and side-by-side massage tables.
The resort has also introduced several new restaurants and a lobby bar as part of the renovation. Open nightly for dinner, Mita Mary is an oceanfront dining experience. Additional venues include a beachfront Nikkei cuisine concept situated near the adults-only pool; Las Marietas Restaurant & Bar, an all-day dining restaurant offering Mexican and international cuisine; and the lobby bar. The new additions further enhance the resort’s F&B program, which includes the fine-dining restaurant Carolina.
The resort’s dual-level infinity pool, Marietas pool, offers ocean views and vistas of the Islas Marietas National Park. The resort also offers privileged access to two Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses, Pacifico and Bahia, for players of all skill levels. Guests can also enjoy a range of water sports including snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding, seasonal whale-watching experiences, and more.
