St. Regis Hotels & Resorts announced it will expand its presence in Mexico with the signing of a 120-room hotel and 60 residences in Los Cabos. Expected to open in early 2021, The St. Regis Los Cabos will be located in Quivira, Los Cabos, an exclusive residential community.
The hotel will be part of the 1,850-acre master-planned luxury Quivira community located on the Pacific West Coast that would have private beach club, village center, nature reserves, and over 20 miles of walking and biking trails.
The St. Regis Los Cabos will have 120 guestrooms, all of which will have oceans views and the brand’s signature butler service. There will be three dining venues: a specialty restaurant; a beachfront grill with all-day dining; and an al fresco poolside restaurant with small plates and cocktails. Additionally, guests can make use of the fitness and wellness center, multiple swimming pools, a saltwater lagoon, luxury cabanas, and a destination spa.
The resort will have meeting and event spaces for corporate gatherings, retreats and weddings.
Currently, there are two St. Regis properties in Mexico—located in Mexico City and Punta Mita. Los Cabos is known for its gastronomy, scenery, and white-sand beaches. Conveniently situated just four miles west of Cabo San Lucas and 30 miles southwest of the Los Cabos International Airport, The St. Regis Los Cabos at Quivira offers easy access to attractions such as the 18-hole Jack Nicklaus golf course, fishing, and dining.
In other St. Regis news, the St. Regis New York will begin offering its new Afternoon Tea on May 1 and Rose Brunch for the first time on May 14—just in time for Mother’s Day.
