Starhotels has appointed Federico Versari as general manager of Helvetia & Bristol Firenze – Starhotels Collezione, which is undergoing an extensive renovation.
Antonio Ducceschi, Starhotels Collezione cluster general manager, says Versari was a great fit for the job.
"Among various candidates, Federico Versari was identified as the manager that most corresponded to the profile we had in mind and in particular we were impressed with his understanding of the needs of the luxury clients, his natural talent for delighting and surprising guests, demonstrating a contagious enthusiastic approach,” Ducceschi said.
The restoration of Helvetia & Bristol’s accommodations will end at the end of the month. The restructuring project is slated to end by November 2019, once the neighboring building—the former Banca di Roma—will be annexed to the hotel with 25 new rooms and suites, a spa and an event space.
Ducceschi says the 64 rooms and suites have all been renovated and have a unique aesthetic.
Helvetia & Bristol Firenze – Starhotels Collezione is part of The Leading Hotels of the World.
