Tivoli Hotels & Resorts has opened Tivoli LA VIE Muscat Hotel & Residences, a 79-key property inside the LA VIE development in the Omani capital. It is the Minor Hotels brand’s fourth address in the Middle East and the first hotel in Oman to sit on a championship golf course.

The rooms lean modern European with Omani accents, and the standard amenity package skews high: Dyson hair tools, SMEG coffee machines, Amouage bath products, and Läderach chocolates at turndown. Categories start with 15 Superior Rooms and 41 Deluxe Golf View Rooms at 430 square feet, nine of which have terraces facing the fairways. Ten Junior Golf View Suites run 645 square feet, eight of them with balconies, and three One Bedroom Golf View Suites reach 710 square feet. The 1,700-square-foot Two Bedroom Presidential Suite tops the inventory.

On the dining front, SEEN by Olivier da Costa lands on the rooftop as the concept’s first Middle East outpost, with views over the LA VIE Country Club. S O L É handles seasonal Mediterranean cooking with a lounge next door for daytime bites, while the Nineteenth Sports Bar and Cigar Vault overlooks the course. Benihana and an all-day café, The Coffee Club, are slated to join later this year.

Muscat’s first Anantara Spa is already open, paired with what the hotel calls the capital’s longest rooftop infinity pool and a Technogym-equipped fitness center. Golfers get 18 holes on the Troon-managed, Paul Thomas-designed course plus the only Toptracer range in the country.

For advisors booking incentives and corporate programs, the Juman Ballroom seats up to 520 and is among the largest in the city, outfitted with a 60-by-20-foot HD screen and broadcast-grade AV. It fronts the course’s 10th hole, and three daylit meeting rooms round out the event space. The property sits in Madinat Al Irfan, with retail, entertainment, and cultural attractions close by.
